It's pronounced "Center Center." The plus is silent 🤫

Center center is a stage position. If you drew a line down the middle of a stage from front to back and side to side, the intersection of the two would be center center. The plus is a little nod to that location.

We think of swings much the same way - right in the middle of everything going on in a show.
